In the jerk, it is extremely difficult to hold maximal tension in the trunk, after a heavy clean. Use these movements to teach and build endurance in the trunk. Now an added benefit of these bastards is IF you have the problem of not being strong enough to keep tension in the trunk
Usually done for 6 reps/4-6 sets. Really harden the bazilleyballs out of your trunk and lats with these else you might find yourself choking or snapping something. It is one of the most effective exercises I've found for trunk strength. But still...Proceed with caution
